Lebanon has a free-market economy where the Lebanese economy is service-oriented. In 2013, Lebanon's total population was 4.47 million with 87.5% of the population is urbanized. CO2 emissions in the same year were 20.64 Mt representing 1.2% of total Middle East emissions. Its total primary energy supply in 2013 was 7070 thousand tons of oil equivalent (ktoe), with 99% coming from fossil fuel imports. In 2010, Lebanon had a total power capacity of around 28173 GWH with 2400 GWh coming from Hydropower.
